Budista Glossaries in Several Languages

Dharma Glossaries in Several Languages

All our courses are held in English. However, approximately half of the students on our courses are not native English speakers. Therefore, we've put together these multi-language glossaries as support for students in understanding some Tibetan Buddhist terms that they are likely to hear during our courses.
We have intentionally kept these glossaries fairly brief, as our aim is simply to provide extra assistance in understanding the course leader's teachings in English.
We also have paper copies of these glossaries available for reference here at Tushita, but if you would like to take a look, or even print a copy for your records, please feel free to do so.

All these glossaries have been put together by long-term students, teachers or practitioners of Tibetan Buddhism, affiliated with the FPMT (Foundation of the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition). Therefore the definitions relate to meanings accepted with the Gelug tradition of Tibetan Buddhism (Tushita's lineage), and may differ slightly from those accepted in other traditions.
All are available in PDF format - to view or download. We currently only have these languages available, but hope that our range will grow!
